Wasinger Releases First TV Ad: 'Jobs'
Ad touts experience, focus on rural economic growth

COTTONWOOD FALLS -- Today, the Wasinger for Congress campaign announced the release of Wasinger's first television commercial, 'Jobs.'

"Rob Wasinger is the only candidate in the race talking about economic growth and job creation for rural Kansas, and that's what our first television commercial is all about," said Billy Valentine, campaign manager of the Wasinger for Congress campaign. "With headlines across the district such as 'Population exodus in area continues,' Republican primary voters are looking for a Congressman who will make revitalizing the rural economy their number one priority and has the experience to get the job done. 'Jobs' makes it clear that candidate is Rob Wasinger."

Script of 'Jobs:'

"Rob Wasinger creates jobs."
"During my time with Sam Brownback and Jerry Moran and Governor Graves, we did a lot to bring economic growth and development to the rural parts of our state."
"I've worked on a lot of those projects from the airport in Salina from the Jennie Barker Expressway in Garden City to the Reverse Osmosis Facility."
"I'm the jobs candidate. And if we're going to grow as a district, we're going to need to attract high-paying, good jobs that will help attract our young people back to the state."
"I'm Rob Wasinger and I approve this message."

Wasinger is a native of Hays and has served Kansas as a former staffer to then-State Senate Majority Leader Jerry Moran, Governor Bill Graves, and most recently as chief-of-staff to U.S. Senator Sam Brownback. Wasinger lives with his wife, Meghan, and their ten children in Cottonwood Falls.
