Wasinger Comments on House Health Care Passage
Will work to repeal legislation when elected

COTTONWOOD FALLS -- Today, Rob Wasinger, Republican candidate for Congress in the first district of Kansas, commented on the House passage of the partisan health care bill.

"Liberals in Washington defied the will of the American people by passing their socialist health care bill in the House," said Wasinger. "When elected to Congress, I pledge to repeal the health care bill, replace it with market-based solutions, and retire those Congressman who voted for the bill by introducing term limits legislation."

Wasinger is a fourth generation Kansan, born and raised in Hays. Wasinger has served Kansas on the staffs of both Gov. Bill Graves, then-State Sen. Jerry Moran, and most recently served as chief-of-staff to U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback. Wasinger resides in Cottonwood Falls with his wife, Meghan, and their nine children. The Wasingers are expecting another child in May.
