Wasinger Launches Pro-Life Leadership Team
Team launched on eve of 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade

COTTONWOOD FALLS -- Today, Rob Wasinger, Republican candidate for Congress in the first district of Kansas, announced his Pro-Life Leadership Team on the eve of the 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

"As the next Congressman from the Big First, I pledge to advance legislation that protects woman and child from the dangers of abortion," said Rob Wasinger, a native of Hays who most recently served Kansas as chief-of-staff to Senator Sam Brownback. "I am honored to be supported by such a great group of pro-life leaders committed to building a Culture of Life here in Kansas."

The leadership team is chaired by Betty Rejewski of Hutchinson who commented, "I have been active in pro-life causes for many years. It is important to me that our next Congressman is strong on the life issues, such as abortion, euthanasia, human cloning, and embryonic stem cell research. After visiting with Rob Wasinger, it is clear that he is not only deeply committed to the cause of life, but he is extremely knowledgeable and conversant in these issues, as well. I heartily endorse Rob Wasinger for Congress from the First District."
