Amusing Argument 5/6/10

Vote for Rob Wasinger.

I am mildly amused by the bogus arguments being made by Huelskamp supporters against Rob Wasinger and others in the current 1st Congressional District race.

One such amusement comes in the form of "Who's more Kansan: the person who was born, raised and lived here their entire life, or the one who was born and raised here, worked outside our state for a while, then came back?" Several people fall into the latter category, including Sen. Pat Roberts. Roberts spent 13 years in Washington, D.C., working for Sen. Frank Carlson and Rep. Keith Sebelius before returning to Kansas in 1980 to run for and win the 1st District seat vacated by Sebelius.

How much better a congressman and senator would Roberts have been had he not lived and experienced life beyond our Kansas borders?

From my perspective, not any better at all.
