As the father of ten children, I am reminded every day of the value of human life. As a member of Congress, I would sponsor and vote for legislation that seeks to protect children and women from the violence of abortion.

As Senator Brownback's chief-of-staff, I led the fight behind the scenes to protect taxpayers from being forced to fund embryo-destructive stem-cell research and instead pushed for proven and ethical methods of research such as adult stem-cell research. Furthermore, I helped write the ban on human cloning and will push for its passage when elected.

Finally, I strongly believe in supporting alternatives to abortion, especially adoption, and I would fight any legislation that seeks to undermine pregnancy care centers that help women choose life in local communities across the country.
